Liverpool’s opening home game of the season has sparked fresh speculation about the movements of 26-year-old striker from Uruguay, Luis Suarez.
With mere days remaining until the transfer window closes Real Madrid are rumored to be linked with a move for the Liverpool player. However Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers has claimed that Suarez will remain at Anfield as there is not enough time left to risk losing their top scorer from last season.
Rogers has said that they are in the process of trying to get a few more quality players to sign with the team. He continues to state that should this request have been made a few months ago it would have been considered but not now with such short notice.
