A British man was arrested and questioned by a Spanish judge on suspicion of having killed his father during a fight at a holiday camping site.
Ian Bennett, 45, was arrested on Friday in L’Estartit, on the Costa Brava, after allegedly attacking his father, 69-year-old Douglas Bennett.
Local police said he had been taken before a judge and subsequently released on bail while the investigation continues.
Douglas Bennett was found in a pool of blood by campsite security and was taken to a hospital in Girona with severe head wounds where he died on Friday morning.
