JAVEA has a new bus station in Avenida Palmela.
It is much-needed, said councillor Tere Bisquert.
Alsa, which covers the Valencia to Alicante route, is providing a direct weekend connection with Valencia city for residents who study or work there during the week and return at the weekend.
The new service will leave Javea at 6.20pm each Sunday evening, returning from Valencia city at 3.30pm on Fridays.
Inside Javea, local buses now start and finish at the new bus station. They follow the same routes as before and still stop at the Olivo roundabout in Avenida de Ondara.
