MORE than 3,000 people attended the third Almeria Western Film Festival which closed at Fort Bravo at the weekend.
The film Django Unchained by Quentin Tarantino (pictured) won the prize of best film in the festival with the film West of Thunder winning the Public prize.
The Festival also presented the special Tabernas Award to the actress Monica Randall, for her contribution to the western genre. The actress was very happy and glad to be back in the province of Almeria.
The Festival paid tribute to Spanish film director Joaquin Luis Romero Marchent, who died last year.
