ALICANTE leaders are in Brussels in a bid to attract EU funding for technology and business projects.
Councillor for Employment, Carlos Castillo, is on the three day trip along with representatives of Alicante University and city businesses: “Our goal is to lobby European leaders,” said the councillor. “We want to make visible in Europe the work of the Local Development Agency, and the companies of Alicante. Our goal is to try to show the new economic sectors of Alicante and to raise funds that are intended for institutional and corporate projects.”
