WINTER is here and our skin often feels the effects of the colder, harsh weather but now, a beauty supplement could help protect the skin.
The first clinical trial carried out in France into the effect of the pill which contains micro-nutrients, found it improved the condition of the skin in the coldest months. The study, published in the journal Clinical Interventions In Ageing, focused on beauty vitamin supplement tablets that contained ingredients such as biomarine collagen, pine bark and grape seed extracts. The participants were assessed before, during and six weeks after the four month trial with researchers reporting that women who did not take the tablets had thicker, rougher skin and more fine lines than those who had.
