Queen Symphonic Rhapsody
A SELL out crowd enjoyed a light and music spectacular when the ‘Queen Symphonic Rhapsody’ visited the Roquetas de Mar auditorium on Saturday night.
A symphony orchestra accompanied by a rock band with four singers gave life to a concert paying tribute toi Freddie Mercury and Brian May’s legendary band.
For two and a half hours the talented musicians had the audience all fired up. Thirty songs were brought to life by Tommy Herat, Michele McCain, Pablo Perea and Linda Armendariz (soprano) accompanied by the One World Symphonic Orchestra merged with Rock Band guitars performing the greatest hits of the famous British group.
The presence of American Michelle McCain, a singer with a unique voice and well known in Spain for her collaboration with the Orquesta Mondragon delighted the public.
The spectacular included well known songs such as ‘A kind of magic’, ‘The miracle’ ‘Play the game’ and’We Are The Champions’ but the song of the night was ‘Barcelona’. It was the most emotional moment of the night with an audience that was completely won over.
