Choral surprise at shopping centre

AFTER months of planning, the Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir had an amazing time with an ‘impromptu’ flashmob concert at the Ondara Shopping Centre.

A flashmob is where a group of people perform an apparently impromptu song or dance routine, although normally it has been rehearsed. 

As soon as the choir started an audience appeared and seemed to really enjoy the experience. Many people commented how uplifting the singing was, said organisers. They sent their thanks to all the choir members who gave up their Saturday morning, plus Claire Post the group’s Musical Director and Kirsty Glen its accompanist.

 The choir will be holding a concert at Benitachell Church next Wednesday 18th December at 7pm. All are welcome and entrance is free.
