Taken to hospital
AN ambulance driver, 29, has been charged with sexually abusing a mentally disabled woman who he took to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.
He was arrested and later released with charges and a restraining order against him which bans him from coming within 500 metres of the woman’s home in Marbella. He must also appear in court every fortnight.
The woman, who is 28, but has the mental age of a teenager, has a personality disorder which prevents her from controlling her impulses.
She had been taken to hospital by ambulance following a psychotic episode and was later taken home by the accused at around 3am. According to her mother, she was taken to an alleyway where the man had sex with her in the ambulance before dropping her near her home. When she got in, her mother claims she was in a strange mood and eventually told her what allegedly happened. Her family took her to the police to report the events and she was later examined at hospital. The man was arrested and their clothes and the ambulance were checked for evidence. He admitted having sex with her but claims she instigated it and he was “afraid” to refuse.
