SPOTTED: An albino python snake was found.
A TWO metre long albino python snake was found in the town of San Jordi, Ibiza. Four Police officers were needed to retrieve the animal safely.
The nine-kilo brown-spotted snake slithered around Calle Varona before a Local Police patrol arrived after receiving several calls from the locals who were shocked at seeing a python in their streets. More than four agents and the Environmental unit pursued the snake.
The animal destroyed the tongs mechanism with which they officers tried to restrain it, and escaped again before they finally caught the snake at the third try.
The reptile is thought to be a domestic snake, according to the police, but the owner is still unknown.
