GUARDIA CIVIL are hopeful that test results will help them advance in the investigation into the disappearance of 15-year-old Malen Ortiz from Calvia on December 2.
The search for the girl continues, and although the Guardia Civil have not ruled out any possibilities, while they initially thought she had left home voluntarily, the Government Delegate in the Balearic Islands, Teresa Palmer, said that there has been a “change in evidence” which now makes them think it is more likely she was taken against her will.
During searches, several items have been found which have been sent to Madrid to determine whether they belong to Malen, most of them pieces of clothing.
