The Spanish operator Telefonica has announced the launch of a Digital Family Resource Centre, especially aimed at parents and teachers who have concerns about children using the Internet

Already available in Spain, the telecoms giant, which initially held a pilot scheme in Leeds, is now set to launch the programme at London’s O2 throughout the UK in the spring. It will be rolled out worldwide during the course of 2014

Digital Family is a platform enabling parents and teachers to share experiences and ask questions about children using the Internet as well as other technologies. There will be monthly discussions about a variety of issues to educate and help with subjects such as bullying, grooming and using video links.
