The British man arrested in Lanzarote for suspected child-snatching has been released on the condition that he appear before authorities twice a month.
The court in Arrecife, Lanzarote, has declared that the accused should report in person on the first and fifteenth day of each month as a condition of his release.
The British tourist was arrested following alerts from neighbours who had seen him taking a child, who had been playing outdoors, and alerted the boy’s family. They managed to get the child back he was unhurt but upset by the experience.
