The two workers fell from scaffolding.
Two workers suffered serious injuries after falling from scaffolding in a factory in Carboneras.
The incident took place last Friday around 3.30pm when Emergency Services received a call saying that two people working for a scaffolding company had suffered a fall in a factory in calle Rambla Olivera.
The two workers fell from a height of four metres.
After a difficult rescue the two workers, one with a broken right leg and one with a broken left arm, were transferred to the Torrecardenas Hospital in Almeria City.
Firefighters, medics, agents of the Guardia Civil, Local Police and work inspectors visited the scene of the accident. They are carrying out an investigation into the safety of the factory.
