A Malaga Local Police officer was arrested in a Guardia Civil operation which dismantled a workshop illegally manufacturing firearms to sell online.
He was just one of nine people arrested including the person in charge of the factory, located in his home in Valladolid.
The Malaga police officer reportedly had approximately 50 of the more than 100 weapons which were seized and has been charged with illegal weapons possession.
Amongst the weapons seized, there were several prohibited warfare weapons, 90 pistols and seven front-loading weapons, as well as 5,500 cartridges of ammunition.
There were also buyers in Granada, Valencia, Albacete, Ourense and Vizcaya.
