Hacienda will be returning €125 million in Almeria.
Over the next few weeks the Spanish Inland Revenue service, Hacienda, will return more than €125 million to the 6,897 residents in the province of Almeria.
More than 265,000 residents will have to revise, modify and confirm their contributions in order to qualify for the rebate, or pay an extra, on their personal income tax.
Hacienda commented that around 75% of the declarations in Almeria would get a rebate; they went on to comment that these rebates may be the reason so many people have put their returns in early with most of the declarations being received in the first 48 hours of the website being opened. The deadline for online returns is the 30 June.
For those not wishing to complete the online returns the deadline is also the 30 June and Hacienda offices will open to the public on the 12 May.
