Abandoned cars will be removed
Mijas Local Police have reported 220 abandoned cars on the streets of the town so far this year.
If a car remains in the same place on the street for more than 15 days, police will put a sticker on the windscreen to warn the owner that it has to be moved.
If the owner does not move the vehicle or contact the police, then it will be removed with the municipal tow truck.
More than 30 have been removed so far this year, and throughout last year, almost 100 were removed.
