Bad news for Spanish rock fans: former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has cancelled his entire summer tour of the country.
Plant, 65, had been due to play venues in Bilbao, Murcia, Malaga, Madrid and Girona throughout July with his band The Sensational Space Shifters.
However, via their official website, Plant has announced that ‘due to scheduling conflicts, the Sensational Space Shifters have had to postpone their Spanish tour’.
Although the reason for the cancellations is scheduling issues, rumours are abounding that Plant has cancelled the gigs due to exhaustion.
The Sensational Space Shifters are still due to play a series of festivals this year, including the UK’s Glastonbury.
Anyone who has bought tickets for any of the cancelled concerts can get a refund from their original point of sale.
