Bar La Union – food, fun and football

Pop over to Bar La Union in Alfoquia for food and fun.

Bar La Union in La Alfoquia is under new ownership! At the helm are a couple of familiar faces, Gary and Sue, formerly of Bar Los Mellizos.

Gary and Sue manage this popular venue as a family run, family focussed, and British pub. Open every day of the week from 9am until late, this friendly pub has a variety of activities to keep you entertained.

Like music? Then pop along on Friday night at 9pm this week and listen to Dee Sharp, vocals complemented by the sultry tones of Dave Sharp on his saxophone.

On Sunday afternoon, Dave will be back again to provide soothing saxophone music for the hungry diners tucking into their food.

Speaking of food, La Alfoquia has something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Homemade pies, Chef’s special BBQ sauce and ribs, sirloin and rib eye steaks, and a variety of menus at different times of the day such as ‘Light Bits’, ‘Breakfast’, ‘Tapas’, and an evening menu. Kids are well looked after too, as a number of dishes are available as half portions.

Football’s World Cup starts soon, and La Alfoquia have the largest screen in the town, plus three more televisions in the bar area, so you won’t miss a single goal or nail biting moment.

Fancy catching a bit of sun with your beer? At the front is a large terrace with benches, and behind the bar is a terrace protected by fly screens, so you won’t need to spend your time swatting at flying nuisances.

Bar La Union Alfoquia is open every day of the week from 9am until late. Finding the bar is easy, as it, is located in the centre of La Alfoquia on the main street (A-1101) almost opposite the petrol station.
