The groom-to-be filmed his proposal video over four years.

A US graduate has spent four years completing a novel wedding proposal video that has been shot in no less than 26 different countries.

University of Montana student Jack Hyer, 22, set himself the grand task four years ago of filming an epic proposal video after meeting the girl of his dreams and vowing that he would one day marry her.

Hyer, who studied Management Information Systems and International Business, made the lip-synching video over the course of four years after meeting fellow student Rebecca Strellnauer in 2010.

Hyer’s university studies took him to a long list of countries including Cambodia, China, Israel, France, Tanzania and the UK, allowing him to film a part of the video in each of the locations.

The video features Jack lip-syncing and dancing to I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by Scottish band The Proclaimers in a variety of eclectic locations.

Last Saturday the couple graduated and Jack revealed the video – in front of their families – and asked Rebecca to marry him…

And she said ‘YES!’

Jack said: ‘I’ve been on many adventures. I’ve travelled on elephant, on camel-back, hiked to the lowest point on the earth and I’ve gotten to see some of the highest.”

“But the best adventure I’ve had is loving Becca.”

EPIC proposal from 26 countries, 4 years in the making.
