Ryanair has announced a new promotional campaign featuring lucrative discounts in an attempt to appear more ‘family-friendly.’
The new product branded Family Extra, features a range of discounts and an improved service. Targeting those travelling with children which includes; a 50 per cent reduction on allocated seating charges for children, a free 5kg infant bag allowance, discount priority boarding for large families and reduced infant fees of €25 (£20).
Baby changing facilities and bottle warming will also be on board a Ryanair commercial airline for the first time.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs said:“This the latest in a long line of Ryanair customer improvements, following allocated seating, a free second carry-on bag, reduced fees and a new website. We will next unveil our brand new app and mobile boarding passes in July, followed by a tailored business product, as we continue to offer so much more than just the lowest fares.”
The airline has in recent months introduced a variety of customer friendly upgrades to its services in a bid to shed a more abrasive image.
