King Felipe VI and Queen Doña Letizia of Spain have arrived in Mallorca with their two daughters for their annual summer holiday.
The King joined his family after attending the commemoration for the WW1 centenary in Belgium. Queen Letizia and the princesses arrived in advance having flown in from Madrid.
The royal holiday will be interrupted to allow King Felipe to meet the Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy to attend a reception where he will be officially presented as the Monarch to over 200 Balearic socialites.
The King has broken tradition this year and invited 30 extra guests to the royal gala including sport, cultural and economy personalities.
