TOWIE star Elliott Wright’s Full Monty for Cancer Research

Elliott Wright, star of the popular UK TV show, ‘The Only Way is Essex’, has revealed reasons close to his heart behind a sexy photo shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine, where he posed naked earlier this week.

Elliott took part in the saucy shoot to help raise awareness for Cancer Research UK, a fact made all the more meaningful as Elliott’s father has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Speaking about his role in the shoot, Elliott said: “Cancer Research UK is so important. My dad just got diagnosed with prostate cancer and if it’d been found sooner it might not have spread to his bladder. Cancer ricochets through the whole family. All of my dad’s brothers have now had tests for it too; it really does open your eyes.”

Prostate Cancer is the most common form of cancer in men, accounting for a quarter of all newly diagnosed male cancer cases in the UK. Due in large part to increasing awareness of the disease, seven out of 10 men diagnosed with prostate cancer can expect to live for 10 years or more with successful treatment. Regular health checks in men over 50 are strongly recommended.

Aside from his work with Cancer Research, Elliott spends a lot of his time in Spain, where his two children live, and where he also runs a successful restaurant ‘Eduardo´s Villamartin’.

Elliott recently began dating co-star Chloe Sims, after guiding her and her daughter around the Alicante area, where he has lived since his early twenties.
