GUARDIA CIVIL officers have arrested two people and dismantled a drug operation in Adra.
Officers had been observing a home in Adra that was being used for the production and sale of drugs, specifically hashish. The police arrested AFH, aged 40, and RAH, 29, both residents of Adra, suspected of the crime of drug trafficking.
Police recovered approximately 100 grams of cannabis resin in three packages, €440 in notes and various objects associated with the preparation and sale of the drug including precision scales, plastic wrap and a knife which tested positive for drugs when its blade was examined. A mobile telephone used specifically for the sale of the drug was also recovered.
The two offenders are awaiting sentencing by the Magistrates Court in Almeria.
