A great-great-grandmother believes she has set a new record in the 100 metres for anyone her age. She finished the race in 59.8 seconds at the Gay Games in Akron, Ohio on Tuesday, August 12.
Ida Keeling was trained by her daughter Shelley and, although finishing last, felt proud. I guess 99 is the new 40 then, congratulations to her!
