England bowl India out on day one

England has just bowled out India in the final test at The Oval for 148. It continues the great form that England has been enjoying in the past two Test matches. England are set to start batting at any moment now.

The innings was a disaster for the Indian cricket team with only three players making it into double figures. England was looking to take advantage of India’s recent dip in batting form and it worked excellently.  India fell to 44-6 as they sniffed a very quick innings but then India’s semi-saviour came to the rescue.

India’s captain Mahendra Dhoni top scored with a stunning 82 as he was left behind by all of his teammates, one falling after another. He scored more than 50 per cent of the team’s total. The bowling display was excellent but could have been better having reduced India to 90-9.

Jordan and Woakes bagged three wickets each with Anderson and Broad two for the day. England will now look to push on and seal the series with another crushing defeat of the Indian side.
