IL PARADISO is a stunningly decorated restaurant situated on the majestic water front in Marivent, close to the Spanish Royal Family’s Palace, and just a three minute taxi ride from Palma’s Paseo Maritimo, offering stunning, panoramic views of the bay.

Owner Peter Axelson who moved from to Mallorca from Sweden in 2008, discovered the former Hotel Alfonso XII on the seashore and decided to restore the 20^th century historic, landmark Mallorcan building into one of the most exquisite and beautifully situated restaurants on the island.

Bringing with him an abundance of experience and culinary influences from Sweden, Peter, along with his team, offer authentic Italian cuisine with an interesting Mediterranean influence. The combination of these two culinary traditions has resulted in unforgettable dishes, full of rounded flavor.

The concept, born from Peter’s vision to create the perfect restaurant experience is quite unique. From the moment you leave your car in the free valet parking, the friendly staff will treat you like a VIP and part of the family. Once seated, you can enjoy the wonderful ambiance, fantastic views and stylish décor, not to mention the marvelous table waiting.  The exquisite dishes and extensive repertoire of quality Italian and Spanish wines to complement every dish is impressive to say the least.

Peter has used his experiences from travelling all over the world and living in the South of France, East and West United States, Sweden and now Mallorca to develop a very special and personal service that focuses on the customer.
