The Rugby Championship enters the second weekend of games. On August 23, New Zealand take on Australia at Eden Park in Auckland, NZ, while South Africa travel to Salta, to take on Argentina.
The first round of matches on August 16 produced a few surprises. In Sydney, Australia put an end to a 17 game winning streak for the All Blacks (New Zealand). The game was marred by the terrible Sydney weather and the game finished 12-12. The Springboks at home in Pretoria were the only team to register a win, with an even wetter and hailed filled 13-6 victory over Argentina.
As the games reverse for the coming weekend, New Zealand will be looking to put in a strong performance for the home fans, demonstrating why the All Blacks are the number one team in the world. While the Argentinians in Salta will be eyeing up their first ever win in the competition against South Africa. The game in Pretoria provided some excellent positives for Argentina to build upon. The Argentine forwards were able to win more scrum penalties and steal more lineouts than the Springboks (South Africa).
