The 24-hour network will be available on Spanish pay-TV platforms, reaching an estimated audience of 2.6 million subscribers. The network will feature a mixture of content with an eye on developing a female audience. Fox Life expects to entice Spanish viewers with programming that includes The Good Wife and Scandal alongside local commissions, including The World’s Best Chefs.
“We are thrilled to launch Fox Life in Spain. The brand is core to our global entertainment portfolio and its entry into this market signals FIC’s continued investment and confidence in Spain,” said Adam Theiler, the executive VP of FIC Southern Europe and head of FIC Spain. “We are looking forward to introducing this great product and to entertaining local audiences with its addictive content.”
Fox Life is currently available in 73 countries with a particularly strong presence in Europe, including such markets as Italy, Portugal, Poland, Greece and Turkey.
