JUSTIN BIEBER has been arrested in Canada for dangerous driving and assault.
The young singer was holidaying in Canada with his girlfriend Selena Gomez when the incident took place close to Bieber’s hometown of Stratford on August 29 whist he was riding an ATV motorbike.
The Ontario Provincial Police Department said: “The rider of the ATV and an occupant of a minivan were involved in the collision and engaged in a physical altercation.”
The singer faces new charges and is due to appear in court on September 29.
Bieber is currently on probation for his egg throwing incident, when he threw nine eggs at his former neighbours’ house in Calabasas, California.
The young controversial star was involved in a minor car crash in Los Angeles last month while driving his Ferrari; on this occasion a member of the paparazzi group following him is reported to have crashed into the back of his Ferrari.
After the incident Bieber tweeted: “There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana… I don’t have a problem with paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger.”
