UPDATE: THE body of Miguel Perujo, the 50-year-old man who has been missing since Monday, has been found in Parauta, near Ronda.
Members of his own family discovered his lifeless body in the small village of Conejeras, with clear indications of having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Initial investigations suggest that he may have taken his own life.
The insurance agent was married and leaves behind a wife and two daughters. He was last seen alive last Monday in Ronda at around midday.
ORIGINAL STORY: THE search continues for missing man Miguel Perujo, a 52-year-old from Ronda who has not been since Monday morning.
According to sources at the Diario Sur who spoke to the family, the alarm was raised at around midday on Monday and a search operation was launched.
When last seen, Miguel Perujo was wearing yellow trousers and a dark polo shirt. He drives a silver Volkswagen Golf, licence plate number 8848 CJK.
Perujo is married with two children, and works in an insurance office. He is a competent hiker and is thought to know the country paths and hiking routes of Malaga very well.
His family have asked anyone who may know something about Miguel’s disappearance to contact Ronda’s Local Police immediately.
