KING FELIPE VI and Queen Letizia are in Malaga today in what is their first visit to the provincial capital since Felipe’s coronation.

The Royals are planning to pay a visit to the city’s Picasso Museum before attending an inaugural dinner to open the 19th Spain-US forum at the Automobile Museum.

It is reported that the King and Queen will be accompanied on their tour by the President of the Junta de Andalucía (regional government), Susana Díaz, as well as other officials.

They are expected to arrive at the art gallery at 7.30pm, where they will view the permanent collection as well as temporary exhibitions.

Later, the King will deliver a speech at a formal dinner to celebrate relations between Spain and the United States of America. This forum is an annual event which brings both Spanish and American politicians and business people together to discuss mutual interests.

The forum aims to promote financial and business relations between the two countries, as well as strengthening the three-way relationship between Spain, the USA and Latin America.
