Fairground revellers found themselves caught up in a fight leaving three people injured with gunshot wounds at a Madrid fair in the town of Parla.
Telephone calls to the emergency 112 number to police at 13.45 on Sunday September 7 by members of the public reported that a fight and shooting had taken place in nearby Juan XXIII street close to the attraction.
A 19-year-old female victim is reported to have been taken to the Cristina De Parla hospital with a bullet wound to her foot.
Another victim a 34-year-old man was taken to Getafe hospital with a gunshot injury to his knee.
The third victim is reported to have walked himself to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his face; the bullet is described as passing through the man’s face with an entry and exit wound to his cheek.
The male’s condition is not known but is not thought to be life threatening.
