A cloud of smoke could be seen over Malaga on Tuesday at lunchtime when a restaurant caught fire in Avenida Andalucia, a busy street in the centre of Malaga near El Corte Ingles.
The fire started at about 1.25pm in restaurant Papulinos on the bustling avenue. The fire services were notified and the blaze, which started in the kitchen chimney, was controlled with no casualties and only minor damage to the restaurant.
According to Malaga Fire Department, Local Police and 13 firefighters were sent to the location and managed to control the fire very quickly.
