Mosaik4 – more than a restaurant

SITUATED in one of the best locations on the coast, Mosaik4 stands out from the crowd.

Beautiful, elegant and expressively modernised with an eastern Arabic feel, this stunning restaurant is a head above the rest.

Entering through a fortress style dome, we were immediately made to feel welcome as the waitress handed us a nice refreshing glass of cava.

We chose to sit on the balcony, so we could absorb the ‘September Sunday afternoon’ ambience near Puerto Banús and were kindly shown to a beautifully laid table near the entrance.

As we had opted for the new Sunday brunch menu offer, we were presented with the most beautiful plate of food from the carvery.

Sumptuous roast beef, cooked to perfection, served with a perfectly tasting Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato and crème of spinach with gravy.

Being the typical vegetarian that I am and embarrassed to say that my vegetarian ways didn’t cater for roast beef, I politely just left it on the side of the plate, but the waitress immediately spotted something was amiss and brought me the most delicious vegetarian version. To my delight Caprese salad was added to a beautiful array of vegetarian delights which happened to be one of my favourites.

There was a mixture of desserts, all mouth-watering and gorgeously delicious. Naturally, sliding down nicely with the abundance of cava at no extra cost.

Before leaving I decided to have a sneaky peek at the whole restaurant and check out the everyday menu. The restaurant which covers 1,325 sq. metres includes a large private dining area for up to 10 people, three distinctive patios and indoor areas to choose from and a fabulous chill bar on the top floor. In total there is capacity for 300 covers, suitable for any event from weddings, hen parties, corporate events or even a celebratory divorce party.

There are four different chefs working to create four different cuisines to match the diners’ tastes. Thai, Japanese, Mediterranean or Arabic culinary delights are all available to suit a variety of palate.

Fusions and cultures have been stunningly blended together like ‘mosaics’ of art and Mosaik lived up to its reputation; Beautiful, good quality and excellent service.
