ISIL plan attacks on New York and Paris subway networks.

Iraq’s Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, has said that his country’s intelligence services have uncovered a plot by ISIL to attack the subway services in New York and Paris.

The attack is believed to be imminent.

In the Prime Minister speech his statement statement was made to journalists whilst at the United Nations General Assembly.

The threat comes after the beheading of French hiker Herve Gourdel on September 23.

The Premier also warned that ISIL will focus their brutality outside of the region and expand their terror operations further afield.
