AUTO-MOTO-KIT is a garage located in Santa Ponsa that carries out all sorts of repairs to all types of cars, vans, motorcycles and scooters.

Owners Keith Haigh (a resident in the island for 33 years) and Guillermo Salva Lamas have been working in tandem for the last 10 years and created what today is a wellestablished business. “We aim at giving an honest, reliable and good value for money service in these financially difficult times,” Keith Haigh said. When asked about his previous experience, Keith Haigh said: “I started my working life when still at school. I worked part-time in a motorbike shop in the north of England back in the early 60’s.

“Then finished off my apprenticeship in a Rolls Royce dealership, working on such makes as Jaguar, Rover, Aston Martin, Jenson, Daimler and also a lot of the British Leyland vehicles, meanwhile passing all my exams at technical college. I also attained the position of service manager within a large franchise group in the north of England. When moving to Mallorca in 1981, I continued on with all the rest of the European makes.”

With Keith having been in the motor trade for some 48 years, and partner Guillermo for some 25 years, they have gained lots of experience with lots of different makes and models of motor vehicles. “We are the only garage in Mallorca that repairs both cars and motorbikes in the same location (I think!!),” Keith said.

At Auto-moto-kit, the services they offer are endless. They prepare and take vehicles for ITV (Spanish MOT); they can do engine management diagnosis; servicing and repairs to air-conditioning systems; fitting and balancing of new tyres etc. “Clients come from all over the municipality of Calvia for repairs,” Keith said.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6.00pm. Summertime hours are 8:00am until 3:00pm (August and most of September).
