WELSH wizard Gareth Bale will miss out Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Liverpool on Wednesday night.
Currently one of the world’s most expensive players, Bale is suffering from a muscle injury and does not feature in Carlo Ancelotti’s 20-man squad to travel to Anfield, a pitch he knows well from his Tottenham days.
The 25-year-old Welshman, who joined Real Madrid in September last year after showing immense talent for Spurs, was an unused substitute in last weekend’s 5-0 drubbing of Levante. It looks likely that Bale’s gluteal injury will also keep him out of this Saturday’s ‘El Clasico’ clash with league leaders and bitter rivals Barcelona.
