Gray Mountain
John Grisham is back with another gripping legal thriller. In recession-hit 2008, Samantha Kofer loses her job at a major Wall Street firm. She takes a non-paid job at a legal aid clinic in the small town of Brady, Virginia, with the slim possibility of getting her job back after a year. But she is soon dragged into the murky and dangerous world of coal mining, where laws are often broken, rules are ignored and regulations are thrown out the window. With the land under threat from ‘Big Coal’, Samantha finds herself involved in a litigation that turns deadly.
