Fuengirola leisure area nears completion
WORK on the park areas by the river in Fuengirola known as the Parque Fluvial are almost complete, announced mayor Esperanza Oña and town planning councillor Ana Mula.
The ambitious project with park areas covering almost 75,000 square metres aims to offer a pleasant area for residents and visitors to relax. The new 30 metre ling bridge over the river is waiting for the final touches while work has begun to create an aromatic park on a 2,500 square metre plot next to Guau Guau 2 dog-park which will be filled with aromatic plants.
The new additions along with the nearby Skate Park and green areas will offer attractive open-air leisure and sport spaces for locals and tourists alike.
