Marina Phoenix play individual stableford

AN individual stableford at Marina Phoenix resulted in Steve Dimmock winning with 39 points. Jim Budd (35) was second and Alan Morris (33) third. In the ladies division Margaret Budd scored 32 points to take first place, followed by June Nicol (30) in second and Isobel Jones (28) in third.

The only two’s prize was won by Eddie Vaughan (17th).

Thursday’s Team Game was a 2/3, to count played in fourballs. The clear winners with 105 points were Bob Craig, Derick Dale, Steve Entwhistle and Margaret Budd. In second (100) were Les Armfield, Rod Ambrose, Alf Taylor and Kathy Morris, followed by Kenny Nicol, Alan Morris, Don Atkins and Linda King (99) in third.
