Cruise experts visit the Costa Tropical

MOTRIL: Travel agents visited the town to learn about its attractions.

TRAVEL agents specialising in cruise tourism visited Motril to learn about its attractions.
Mayor Luisa Garcia Chamorro presided over a meeting at the Casa de Los Bates, where the visitors had the chance to taste tropical fruits cultivated in the town, such as mangos, papayas, avocados and custard apples.
Twenty guides of the Official Tourism Guide Association of Malaga (APIT) took part in the familiarisation trip and visited the Preindustrial Sugar Museum, the Virgen de la Cabeza Shrine and the Pueblos de America park. One of the main purposes of this trip was to create cultural and gastronomic routes that visitors could follow once their ships are docked at Motril’s port.
The town’s mayor emphasised the great cultural, gastronomic and golf courses attractions of the town.
