New Year’s Eve at Da Bruno, Mijas Costa

New Year’s Eve is a very special affair for everyone and Da Bruno knows that the menu has to live up to the highest of expectations. You will be warmly welcomed on arrival with a glass of perfectly chilled, extra dry Shah Mat Rosé accompanied by amuse-bouches guaranteed to whet the appetite and offer you a tantalising glimpse into the restaurant´s approach to the art of cuisine.

The festivities will begin with a warm salad of scallops with chive flavoured potatoes and truffle vinaigrette, followed by a first course of pumpkin soup with scampi. Fresh fish is a speciality of Da Bruno and so, naturally, the second course is a delightful mushroom crusted sea bass supreme, with artichoke puree and balsamic caramel.

To cleanse your palate, a serving of lemon sorbet will then be provided, followed by a third course which will present medallions of tenderloin with sweet wine sauce, oyster mushrooms, truffle potato mousseline and parmigiano chips. This special New Year’s menu is topped by a dessert with the sweetest touch.

To make your dreams come true and to encourage a full and prosperous 2015, the traditional lucky grapes will be taken at midnight, followed by a toast with Piollot Champagne to welcome in the start of the New Year of 2015.

There is a special performance by Ricardo and Sofia to entertain and a party bag to take away as a memento of an unforgettable evening at Da Bruno Mijas Costa.
