The Euro Weekly News team
THE newspaper business is a high-pressure, deadline-filled occupation, and continues to be so over the Christmas period. At the Euro Weekly News, we work 52 weeks a year and are currently burning the midnight oil at the weekends to continue delivering our high standard publications during the festive season.
But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so we recently held an impromptu staff party at the beautiful Da Bruno’s restaurant in Mijas Costa, where we let our hair down and enjoyed some delicious food, drink and a bit of dancing in true festive style! The EWN family has worked extremely hard to ensure that our newspapers keep growing in every area, so we took some time to put down the pens and telephones and enjoy a little down-time before returning to work hard during the holidays. Our long-suffering and tolerant partners know that long hours are part of the job, so we are planning an EWN family party during 2015 as a thank you to them for putting up with us! We’d like to extend a huge thanks to Da Bruno’s for putting on a delicious and memorable spread. As always, the food, service and entertainment were second-to-none. EWN would also like to thank our valued clients at this time of year, clients who reach out to the entire community. We are all part of the expat community in Spain, a community that is strong and keeps growing as a family. At this time of year it is important to remember our neighbours and to reach out to the elderly, infirm and weak. Let’s make it a special Christmas; a Christmas of building bridges. We cannot look forward if we keep looking backwards.
