A MAN was arrested after posting a video of himself, apparently speeding, on the internet.
The 22-year-old Bulgarian resident of Las Pedroñeras in Cuenca posted the video, showing his car speeding along at night and the speedometer reaching 240 kilometres per hour.
Police investigators ascertained that the road in question was the N-301 between Cartagena and Madrid and after identifying the man, arrested him for a crime against road safety.
If found guilty, the bragging driver is certain to lose his licence for between one and four years and may face three to six months in jail or a fine and enforced community work.
