TORREVIEJA needs more portable toilet facilities, opposition declared.
LACK of public toilets in Torrevieja’s port area is apparently one of the most complained about issues in the city.
A year ago Mayor Eduardo Dolon announced the processing of a contract to equip the busiest tourist area of the city but it seems facilities are still lacking. There is just one chemical portable toilet along the Paseo Dique de Levante by the port, installed by the City Council and authorised by the Generalitat, but users report its unhygienic state.
Opposition parties in the town hall are now calling for the situation to be improved.
