THE municipal theatre in Binissalem, Mallorca, has undergone renovation works.
With a budget of €26,000 paid for by the town’s council, the theatre has had upgrades aimed at eliminating barriers and facilitating accessibility for people with physical disabilities. In addition, an adapted toilet has been put in.
Two rows of seats have been eliminated to divide the stalls into two sections, which will allow easy access to the seats. It also resulted in a reduction of capacity, which is now 222 seats.
In addition, 48 light bulbs with a consumption of 1920 watts have been replaced by LED technology light bulbs, reducing the consumption to 432 watts, which will translate into significant savings on electricity, according to the town council.
