COMISIONES Obreras trade union declared that a nursing strike in Malaga, which began at midnight, has been called off after an agreement was reached this morning (January 27).
Malaga City’s Carlos Haya A&E nursing staff had gone on strike to protest over insufficient staff, and agreed by majority to call the strike off after the hospital management provided them with a signed document promising to employ five nurses and two nursing assistants for one year.
