LA CASA de la Borrega tourist apartment establishment is the first in Estepona old town to have received a quality tourism distinction from the SICTED Destination Tourism Quality System.
The hotel’s management said that it took five years to receive the stamp, which will put it in the spotlight in the area.
The stamp, which is valid for two years although annual checks are carried out, acknowledges effort and dedication to quality and constant improvements.
La Casa de la Borrega, a 16th century, two-storey building, was the first in the historic centre of the town to be converted into tourist accommodation.
