MALAGA Council will spend €143,387.39 placing lawns and gardens round the Palacio de Ferias to provide locals with a green leisure area.

Work on the gardens is due to begin in February and will provide residents of the Cruz de Humilladero, one of the city’s most densely populated areas, a place to get some fresh air and relax.

A total of 48,067 square metres of space with 9,000 square metres of lawns, a 1,234 metre gravel path, 10 benches and 15 litter bins are planned.
